It’s been a little while since I last sat down to write,or share pieces of my everyday life. If I’m being honest, stepping away wasn’t something I planned—it just sort of happened. Life got busy, routines shifted, and before I knew it, days turned into weeks without posting.
But even in the quiet, life didn’t stop.
There were still meals being made from scratch, laughter in the kitchen, laundry days that felt never-ending, and small, meaningful moments that I wish I had taken the time to capture. Those are the moments this space has always been about—real life, lived simply and fully.
Lately, I’ve been feeling a pull back to it all.
Back to documenting.
Back to sharing recipes from the heart.https://youtu.be/ZXkAU2Y2ysU?si=FHcKP19YzoIZcnyj
Back to connecting.
This isn’t about perfection or having everything together. It’s about picking up where I left off and embracing the season I’m in right now. Life looks a little different than it did before, and that’s okay. In fact, that’s part of the story.
Moving forward, I want to be more intentional about sharing:
- The meals we’re making (especially those old family recipes I love so much)
- The rhythms of home life
- Little glimpses of our days here in the Piedmont
- And the real, unfiltered moments in between
If you’ve been here before, thank you for sticking around. And if you’re new, I’m so glad you’re here.
This is me, starting again—not perfectly, but honestly.
And I can’t wait to bring you along.
